about me.

I’ve always loved stories. From the overarching themes to the climactic moments to the contextual information working in the background to bring it all together. I find myself getting lost in books, articles, movies, music, and podcasts a few times a week.

Immersing myself in storytelling in various forms enabled me to connect with my students and colleagues as a college educator. It’s what informed my thoughts and research on advocacy in the university space and, in turn, prompted me to begin writing in the first place. And when I decided to pivot from education to marketing to UX content design, it was storytelling that helped me carve out space for myself in those fields too.

I have words in established media outlets, local upstarts, and in the archives of radio, podcasts, and television broadcasts. I’ve delivered keynotes, facilitated workshops, and presented at conferences. What I’ve discovered in the process is that everything comes down to storytelling, but so many stories still haven’t been told yet.

My work centers on creating and helping others develop narratives that best suit their needs, creatively, communally, and professionally, because we all deserve to own and tell dope stories about the lives we lead and the work we do.

Does your storytelling adequately reflect the things you’ve created? Are the stories surrounding you as dope as you are?

Let me help with that.
